One Linux distro to rule them all.

WubiI have been using one flavor or the other of Linux for a long time. In fact, I am running Ubuntu 7.10 on my main PC. So as a way to help promote the use of Linux I would like to point you to an easy way to try out Linux. Wubi  is an installer that will install Ubuntu on your Windows PC without the need to setup partitions or burn a CD. Wubi will install Ubuntu on your PC just like an application. Most of the files that are installed are installed in one folder, making it easy to remove from your PC. Just run the installer, make a few choices about the installation and wait while Wubi downloads and installs Ubuntu to your PC. I can’t think of an easier or safer way to try out Linux for yourself. I am hoping that once you do you will use Linux often, maybe even saying goodbye to Windows forever.

I would much rather run an installer that gave me the choice of PCLinuxOS, SimplyMepis, Ubuntu, Kubuntu, Mint, OpenSuse and Fedora.

So would I. Let me know if you run across any that offer more than one distro to choose from.
