French government convicts Bardot of promoting racial hatred for speaking the truth.

By • on June 4, 2008

brigitte-bardotFor the fifth time former French film star Brigitte Bardot has been convicted of provoking discrimination and racial hatred for writing a letter to then Interior Minister and now President Nicolas Sarkozy. Bardot claimed in the letter that France was “tired of being led by the nose by this population (muslims) that is destroying our country by imposing its acts.” One of the acts that Bardot was referring to is the Muslim festival, Eid al-Adha, which is celebrated by slaughtering sheep. Apparently freedom of speech has been dead in France for some time. I don’t see how anything Bardot said could possibly be interpreted as provoking discrimination and racial hatred. She was complaining about abuse of animals that violate French laws. In fact the behavior of a large percentage of Muslim immigrants in France does in fact threaten France. The months of rioting and the insuing destruction of whole neighborhoods has led to sections of France actually becoming ‘no-go’ zones for anyone who is not a Muslim. In essence Muslim immigrants have actually occupied by force parts of France, violating many French laws. I wonder how many of these immigrants have been convicted in French courts for provoking discrimination and racial hatred? I don’t remember Bardot burning cars and buildings, assaulting French police, and screaming death to infidels. Laws such as these make it difficult if not impossible for French citizens to speak out against real threats and actions by immigrants whose goal is to force changes to French law and customs by use of force and intimidation, not to mention religious and racial hatred. More French citizens need to find the courage and convictions of Brigitte Bardot and speak out against such behaviour and actions.

Thank you for posting this article and saying how it is!
The freedom of speech slowly and secretly will be taken out of our possession if people don`t pay attention and ignoring happenings like this.

Also I fully agree that France has a true problem with the overwhelming Muslim immigrants, not because they are Muslim, but because they obviously have extreme radical believes.

In these areas which you describe even the French Police is afraid to enter, and that is why they almost never do.In these areas muslem women get raped and then, because they are no virgins no more, slautered and burned. Some women only survive by hiding their gender and pretending to be a Man.
France already has no control no more and it is very scary that they officially close their eyes about this subject and treat their great stars, who created France`s reputation,so badly.

I really don`t get this French President, how can he be so ignorant and irresponsible?

Keep on bringing those issues up!

You seem to have a problem with commenting without name calling. Seems to be a problem with a lot of liberal, enlightened people like you. Or you think you are enlightened. If you disagree with me, just say so. I know it is hard to restrain yourself from name calling but give it a try some day. I have read the Qu’ran and it is a peaceful religion but unfortunately the extremists are the one referred to in the article.Nowhere did I condemn Islam, just Islamic extremists. Have a nice day.

Muslims are just regular people like you and me. Christians are just regular people like you and me.

Need not mention other religions.

The sacrifice of animals to a possibly fictional deity is despicable, these people will never change unless the environment changes. I don’t care about these peoples rights anymore, I believe in my heart that they are the true source of hate and ignorance, and I will be wary of any religious person for the rest of my god forsaken life.

Most of these Muslims are not immigrants Michael. They are born here, especially those youths involved in the riots.

I don’t agree with their behaviour and their religion, but then again, who let their parents to become French citizens in the first place? The government of France.

From being racist colonialists,to hypocrite moralists, telling the world how they should behave….then saying racism is bad bla bla bla,so,they decide to live up to what they said and LET IN these Muslims, whose ways are incompatible with France and this is what you get!

Like Ive said,I don’t agree with their ways, but France only has itself to blame.France,LET THEM in.Pay the priiiiiiice

Oh! Another thing, most French people are white supremacists anyway. Not in the militant sense like neo-nazis,but they believe they are superior to non-Europeans.

Another thing,I don’t agree with Brigitte being fined for this. Its crazy. She just aired her opinions! If the government chooses to do that to her, might as well heavily censor or ban the internet.

So slaughtering a few animals publicly is bad but slaughtering MILLIONS away from the public is OK?
France is a big animal consumer not just for eating but for clothes and accessories and testing for the cosmetic industry. As usual we come down hard on those the least likely to be able to defend themselves!

I disagree with you. I’ll say it like that since that’s the only way to get a productive response, right? Can we see a bibliography for all the stuff you write that you claim as fact, when in many cases can be easily proven as farcical and erroneous? And I’ll believe you read the Q’uran when you stop making libelous allegations towards a wide array of social groups. You generalize and stereotype them meanwhile perpetuating numerous inaccurate and prejudicial perceptions.

Blah blah blah blah blah. Where did you cut and paste that garbage from? You don’t agree with me? Great. But don’t turn around and spew out a bunch of crap and hatred towards me.

Respecting everyone’s religion is the nice way to do but I agree that slaughtering a few animals publicly is bad. Animals have rights to live too. Its an incredible post.
