Michael Moore, the ultimate left wing nut job
Liberal filmmaker Michael Moore took left wing hate to a new level Friday when he said that the timing of Hurricane Gustav is:
Proof that there is a God in Heaven
since the storm approaching the Gulf Coast could disrupt next week’s Republican National Convention. Moore made the remarks to MSNBC’s Keith Olbermann, another liberal who is almost as bad as Michael Moore. Republican’s have been monitoring the progress of Hurricane Gustav and have considered postponing their convention in St. Paul, Minnesota.
To quote Michael Moore:
I was just thinking, this Gustav is proof that there is a God in Heaven. To just have it planned at the same time, that it would actually be on its way to New Orleans for Day One of the Republican convention, up in the Twin Cities, at the top of the Mississippi River.
Needless to say Michael Moore has been catching a lot of flack for his outrageous statement, albeit not from any left wing liberals. Louisiana Rep. Steve Scalise is calling on Michael Moore to apologize for the statements. To quote Rep. Scalise:
People in Louisiana, regardless of political affiliation, are making plans to leave to protect their families from this serious storm, and the God I know would not share Michael Moore’s glee for our plight.
I doubt that Michael Moore even believes in God but that did not stop him from invoking God in his outrageous and despicable statement. Moore seemed to back off his statement on air Friday, later saying, “I mean I certainly hope nobody gets hurt, I hope everybody’s taking cover.” That is a pathetic attempt at an apology but one that I would expect from somebody like Michael Moore.
Let’s just hope that McCain will be elected our next president and then maybe people like Michael Moore and REM frontman Michael Stipe, who vowed to leave the country if McCain is elected, will do us all a favor and move somewhere else. Good riddance to them both.

Good post Michael,
This guy is a piece of work and no one should be surprised by it. He and his crowd are very vocal in their opposition to God. This is just one more example in his long history of hatred and giving the caring Democrats a good name. It is interesting that this party portrays themselves as the party of the downtrodden and inclusiveness while being the first ones to lash out in hate. The Democrat party has always labeled conservatives as being filled with hate but that is because the measure others by their own standards. Michael Moore is off the charts irrational and is to be ignored.
Again, good post. I always enjoy reading your blog.
