The Obama-Lincoln Parallel
From the start of his political career President Obama seems to have modeled himself after Abraham Lincoln. Much has been made about the fact that Abraham Lincoln has been a sort of role model for President Obama. If that is so, then I think President Obama needs to take a closer look at the principles that Lincoln held dear. I think most people will find that the principles that Lincoln stands for are nothing like the principles that Obama stands for. I will let the words of Lincoln speak for them self.
Seems the Obama-Lincoln parallel is more about coincidence and symbolism than principles and beliefs.
